Checking-in was quite awkward as the reception desk was closed. I had to use the bar instead, and there was no clear indication about this. Furthermore, my single room was located on the top floor, and the absence of an elevator became an inconvenience while hauling my suitcase. Lastly, I found the lack of adequate soundproofing made for some disturbances during late-night antics from nearby bars.

Breakfast was WOW! 😍 The room was cozy, and the location is right in the heart of the old town, super close to the river. Just be ready for the stairs if you're on the top floor!

We had an amazing time exploring Cologne! The hotel's location right on the river made our family walks so enjoyable. Breakfast was fantastic, especially for our kids who loved the variety. It felt cozy, a perfect mix of comfort and style during our stay.
